This team member will work with children, teens, adults and families who are experiencing crisis and need positive intervention, stabilization, de-escalation, and conflict management using a trauma-informed and family centered approach. By offering prevention, diversion and intervention services, the ultimate goal of this team is to help prevent juvenile delinquency, criminal activity, or involvement in the child welfare system.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or human service related field experience (*there are positions available in the YFCOS program for all levels of education with competitive salary that will commensurate with education and experience)
- Prefer 2 years of related work
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass DCFS and criminal back-ground checks
- Some evening and weekend work required
